Question
What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with the Ministry of Justice on the rehabilitation of prisoners in Welsh prisons who are armed forces veterans?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip
The operational running of the prison service is reserved to the UK Government and is not the responsibility of the Welsh Government, although we liaise closely with the Ministry of Justice and HM Prison and Probation Service on justice issues.
