Question
What assessment has the Government made of how many public bodies successfully meet their obligations under the Public Sector Equality Duty, following the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s 'Equality and Human Rights Monitor: Is Wales Fairer?' report stating that none of the public authorities monitored in Wales is fully compliant?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip
The Welsh Government has noted the contents of the Equality and Human Rights Monitor 2023 Is Wales Fairer? Report. The Equality and Human Rights Commission is the independent equality and human rights regulator and they enforce the Equality Act 2010 which includes the Public Sector Equality Duty.
