Question
Will the Welsh Government consider the suggestion of the Federation of Small Businesses to develop a specific self-employment strategy including freelancers and with a particular emphasis on the creative industries, which is placed under direct Ministerial responsibility?

The Welsh Government fully recognises the important contribution of freelancers to the creative economy. Our production funding has delivered over £300m of spend to businesses in the production supply chain since 2020, many of which are self-employed. We thank the FSB for their useful report and will consider all recommendations, including those related to freelancers, in due course.
