Question
What support is the Welsh Government offering to daycare, childcare and play settings who do not own their registered premises and are not eligible for small business rates relief for registered childcare premises?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Children and Social Care
Properties wholly occupied for the purposes of childcare by a registered provider may be eligible for full Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR). Eligibility is not limited to providers who own their property. Providers who lease the property they occupy are also eligible.
