Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary explain the rationale behind the installation of commemorative plaques by the Welsh Government and Denbighshire County Council on the Rhyl and Prestatyn flood defence schemes?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
The Prestatyn Coast Risk Management Scheme cost £26m and will reduce the risk of flooding to 2,700 properties. The plaque has been installed in recognition of the completion of a major infrastructure project which will benefit a community for generations to come.
