What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with the UK Government about the retention of the small abattoirs discount?

The FSA has updated Welsh Government on the progress of work underway to evaluate the discount scheme for charges for official controls (inspections) in meat premise and has recently set out a clear rationale for continued support to elements of the abattoir sector. The FSA and Welsh Government officials have engaged with stakeholders in Wales and will continue to do so over future months.
