Question
How much money in total has been committed so far to fund efforts to make Wales a Marmot nation, and what will this total be by the end of this Senedd?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Embedding the Marmot principles will help to tackle health inequalities and reduce the gap in life expectancy and healthy life expectancy between communities. A total of £1.14m has been committed to support this work over the three-year period 2025-26 to 2027-28.
