Question
What plans does the Welsh Government have to increase the supply of affordable housing without increasing council tax burdens on residents?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
We will work with local authorities and social landlords to deliver new, high-quality homes, and to bring empty properties back into use as social housing – delivering at least 20,000 new social homes by 2030. Council tax levels are a matter for individual local authorities.
