Debate: Fair Funding
Plaid Cymru's Heledd Fychan proposed that the Senedd back the Welsh Government in asking the UK Government for more borrowing powers and a reformed Barnett formula (the way Wales's funding is worked out). Labour, Reform UK and the Conservatives each proposed replacement wording. All three amendments and the motion itself were rejected, so the Senedd agreed nothing.
- Amendment 1, tabled in the name of Lynne Neagle
Vote on Lynne Neagle's Labour amendment, which would replace the motion with wording on wealth redistribution and Scottish Government resistance, and ask for quarterly reports.
How this theme is tagged
This is keyword matching. It can miss contributions that discuss the subject in other words, and it can tag a passing mention.
Show the phrases it uses
A contribution is tagged when its English text contains one of these phrases. Capital letters don't matter, except in abbreviations, which must match exactly. It is also tagged when the title of the agenda item or question it was part of contains one, as long as the contribution is at least 30 words long.
