Do the 20mph speed limits apply to villages and towns on trunk roads?

The change to the default speed limit on restricted roads agreed by the Senedd is not a blanket change.
The changes to 20mph will apply to existing 30mph speed limits on the trunk road. Exceptions guidance has been collaboratively developed enabling highways authorities to retain 30mph speed limited where appropriate, this guidance will be published shortly.
