What support is the Government offering to local charities, such as museums, chapels etc to cope with rising energy costs?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Social Justice
My officials are working closely with the sector to monitor the impact of the UK Government’s six-month energy price guarantee on charities and other voluntary sector organisations.
Our Community Facilities Programme has an under £25,000 grant which many applicants are using to install energy efficiency improvements to their buildings, such as new heating, lighting or windows. Applicants are also applying for funding to use new technology, such as solar panels to reduce running costs and improve long term sustainability.
