What consideration has the Welsh Government given to promoting a behaviour change campaign to help people who want to buy a puppy find a responsible breeder?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
The Welsh Government funded Animal Licensing Wales project has significantly raised standards for licensed breeders across Wales, providing the public with a source to find a well-adjusted legally bred puppy.
In addition to hosting Responsible Dog Ownership summits, officials work closely with key stakeholders to promote and support their media and education campaigns, helping guide the public in promoting awareness and how to responsibly source well-adjusted healthy puppies.
