Question
What information are local authorities required to provide to the Welsh Government on the care placement of siblings together or apart, and how is that reported?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women’s Health (Delyth Jewell)
The Welsh Government does not collect data on the number of sibling groups of children looked after by Welsh local authorities who are placed separately. This information is held at a local authority level.
