Question
Will the Cabinet Minister provide an assurance that the Welsh Government will not seek to alter, influence, or introduce guidelines regarding internal political party nomination and listing procedures as a means of introducing an informal open-list system without passing primary legislation?

This Government is committed to strengthening democracy in Wales. This includes working to build a cross-party majority to adopt the Single Transferable Vote for future Senedd elections.
