Question
Will the Cabinet Minister outline the projected delivery phases for the proposed live priorities dashboard, and confirm whether the transition from retrospective local government data to live central feeds is structured over a multi-year horizon?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Government Effectiveness & the Constitution (Dafydd Trystan Davies)
The priorities dashboard will be delivered in phases, with an initial version published by the end of the first 100 days of this government. The first iteration will set out the key measures that will be used to assess progress against the government’s priorities, drawing on the best available data. Future phases will focus on improving the dashboard’s functionality, widening the range of measures, and moving towards more timely data feeds where possible. This is expected to take place continuously over the term of the Senedd, with ongoing improvements as data becomes available. This approach will also draw on engagement with a range of partners across the wider data landscape.
